Optimum Dental of Elgin offers compassionate, quality dentistry in a spa-like, family-friendly atmosphere. Dr. Wes Guenther has a unique approach to patient care, as he himself underwent extensive dental work after a baseball injury. Like many of our patients, he understands the need for genuinely thoughtful and gentle dental care.
The staff here is amazing. I was in and out for a filling in no time!! I also had questions about teeth whitening and they gave me what I wanted. Very sweet and nice. Dr and his assistant hooked me up fast and great quality for my filling!! 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely love this dental office. I’ve always been so scared and weary of dentists and I enjoy everytime I walk in the doors at Optimum in Elgin! The girls upfront are so welcoming and the hygienists and assistants along with the Doctors are very kind, professional and friendly!

We’ve invested in state-of-the-art resources that improve access to care, comfort, and quality of treatment for our patients. For example, our CEREC equipment allows us to provide same-day dental crowns rather than scheduling two separate visits. We also offer more advanced therapies like dental implant placement, oral surgery, bone grafting, and Invisalign without having to refer you to an outside specialist.
Our in-house CBCT machine and intraoral imaging equipment allow us to plan advanced treatments that aren’t possible in most traditional dental facilities. They also allow you to see the same things we do so that you can play a role in co-planning your dental care.
When you choose Optimum Dental of Elgin for your family’s oral health needs, we can complete most services under one roof. Including smile makeovers, oral rehabilitation, and braces for your children.
