Traditional Dentures (“Plates”)
A conventional denture is a removable prosthesis that replaces all of your teeth at once. They can be fitted to either your upper or lower arch (jaw). However, most people do best with upper dentures because of the added seal that’s created between the denture and the roof of your mouth.
Like partials, dentures are removable. You wear them during the day and take them out at night to sleep.
Snap-in Dentures
Implant-supported overdentures are a special type of denture that snaps directly onto dental implants. In most cases, anywhere from 2-4 implants are needed. This snap-on design adds comfort and stability throughout the day. You’ll still remove your dentures at night.
